Research projects
1. Ptbnet scientific research proposals
Members of ptbnet who want to develop a research study within the network, or who want to use the ptbnet database for a specific study, have to submit a formal research proposal to the Steering Committee which will evaluate the quality and viability of the study.

Before initiating a new study that is planning to use the ptbnet database, all participants/centres that have contributed data will be offered to participate in the study, and will be asked if they agree (or do not agree) to contribute their data to the study. The Database Officer will provide the data required for the study to the core study group.

2. Ptbnet guidelines and consensus statements
Ptbnet encourages the development of official Paediatric TB guidelines and consensus statements by ptbnet members, joint with other associations and/or international scientific or medical societies. Guideline proposals can be made by a member of ptbnet or by the initiative of the Steering Committee. The proposal should be submitted to the the Steering Committee.
